Dear You,
In 2015 I went on hiatus from my short-lived blog, Insurmountable Cows, to “find myself.” I told my 3 loyal readers I would be back in a month. Updated that to two months. Then four months. Then “maybe next year.” And at that point, I realized I was not going back anytime soon.
I grossly underestimated how well hidden the true me was, and had no idea the journey to my center required getting very very very lost. So incredibly lost. Like how an ill-prepared city-dweller would feel in the Amazon Rainforest at night, except maybe not quite as bad because my journey did not have any poison dart frogs. It just had things that FELT like poison dart frogs.
Seven years later, here I am. It turns out I am super not-straight, and super weird. Which explains why it took me so long to find myself, because it was impossible to do so in the conventional box I was trying to live in. Like trying to find a live fish in a chlorinated swimming pool.
This blog is about whatever I think is true at any moment. Not only CAN my truths change, they WILL change because I change. I will learn new things, read more books, see from different perspectives, have new experiences, talk to new people, and evolve. This blog is also about the everything I am, the full range dualists regard as good, bad, right, wrong, superior, inferior, kind, cruel, brave, selfish, wonderful, horrible, etc. I will write about it all.
